It has been a good sumer so far. Grant and Evan have had fun playing baseball. They are about to begin playing flag football and Grant will play on a more competitive baseball team in the Fall as well. Allyson is beginning dance classes (ballet & tap) and she is really excited about it. Camdyn just goes with the flow.
Lu has been with us over a month now. She is a very wonderful girl. She watches the kids during the day when I work. I have started a 7am - 3:30pm schedule and get to be home when the school bus arrives...which makes me very happy. She is taking ESL and really improving with her conversational english. She'll start an ESL class at our community college in the Fall. She loves to take pictures and has taken so many great pictures of the family.
Over July 4th weekend Julie and her family + Mom came to visit and we all went to Breckenridge. We had lots of fun. Saw great fireworks, terrific 4th parade and even toured a Gold Mine and panned for gold. I was a little obsessive about my gold panning...had a hard time putting the pan down and giving up!
Evan got his 5th set of stitches this summer. All 5 have been in his head! He's a brave dude and I am sure we haven't seen the last of the ER around here!
I am headed to my annual girls weekend this weekend. It should have started yesterday, Thursday, but my friends were coming from Houston and their plane got cancelled due to storms from Hurricane Dolly. But they are headed here now...we'll start a day late, but have tons of fun.
